Description

This wonderful Realgar mineral skull is approximately 4 inches tall, 5 inches long and 3 inches wide.

You will receive this skull, and the actual specimen has a slightly more orange hue than the yellow that is showing.  I tried to correct the color, but it didn’t look right.  As pretty as the yellow is, I do think the orange is even more attractive.

The matrix that the Realgar is in is most likely Carbonaceous limestone or bituminous shale, and the contrast between the fiery orange-red realgar and the matte black matrix is highly prized by collectors.
