This Queen Giant Asian/Giant Japanese hornet (Vespa Mandarinia) has been spread and mounted in a glass dome.

This hornet has received a lot of attention in the press lately!  The giant Asian/giant Japanese hornet is the largest hornet in the world, and feeds primarily on larger insects, tree sap, and honey from honey bee colonies.  This hornet injects a very potent venom.

This amazing specimen is 2 1/8 inches long, with a 3 inch wingspan.  You will receive this specimen, or one very much like it.

The glass dome is 4 by 4 inches and the base is approximately 4 1/2″wide.

These specimens have to be spread before they can be mounted in the dome, so please allow an extra two weeks for delivery.  Thank you!
