Description
The cane toad is native to many parts of Central and South America, but has been introduced on many islands throughout the world. It is used in many areas as a pest control, and derives its name from its use against the Cane Beetle. The toad is an incredibly opportunistic eater (of both dead and living matter), and a prolific breeder and is now itself considered a pest in the areas where it was introduced.
Our cane toads are approximately 4 1/2 inches long and approximately 3 inches wide.
